Project explorer

Organize your files into projects, and your projects into solutions, to get a good overview of your files and find them easily. The project explorer offers many file management tools, including the possibility to open a terminal for a folder, to locate it in the windows explorer, or to open the shell menu.

Code browser

The code browser shows you an outline of your code: Classes, interfaces; Functions, methods, fields; Dependencies; Constants; Variables.

Tasks reports

Place @todo tags in the phpDoc blocks in your code, and PHPEdit will automatically generate tasks reports for you, and list you all your todos, so that you never loose sight of what needs to be done!

PHP manual integration

The PHP manual is accessible directly from PHPEdit, for a quick access to the information necessary on a daily basis. Other manuals are shipped too, like the mysql of the symfony manuals, and you can add more.

Search and replace in files

Quickly search some text in all the files of your project, or all the files in a given directory. You can use regular expressions or wildcards to do advanced searches.

Project dependencies management (Project Include Path)

To benefit from code intelligence features for external libraries or projects, simply drag and drop them in your project's dependencies list, and PHPEdit will analyse them and offer them for completion.
